The goal of SERC Capacity Development Program on Space Applications and Geo-Informatics (CDP-SAG) is to contribute for the successful implementation of the UN Plan “Asia-Pacific Plan of Action on Space Applications for Sustainable Development (2018–2030)”. The CDP-SAG is initiated by the SERC President Mr. Mithun Kumar in 26 August 2020 from his research division Aeronautics and Space Applications (ASA) and first program as held as a webinar in 5 September 2020. The CDP-SAG operated from the Aeronautics and Space Applications division and Mr. Mithun Kumar is the Program Director of the CDP-SAG. Several professionals and students from different countries have been trained and getting advanced training on the area of space applications and Geo-Informatics with application on agriculture, disaster management, natural resources management, environmental management, urban planning, regional development and so on. Several Professors, Scientists and Engineers from different universities/institutes/organizations from different countries have been contributing to this program since the beginning by delivering lectures and demonstration exercise. SERC sincerely thanks and acknowledges to all of our contributors and collaborators.
